The Dorn Technique is a gentle spinal mobilization technique developed by a German
traditional healer and systemized by a Bavarian MD. At this time Rivkah Roth is one of
very few certified Dorn Practitioners in North-America.
The spinal and other joint mobilization techniques of the Dorn Technique are based on
the patient's active involvement. Through light pressure applied in a predetermined
direction the practitioner blocks and secures a specific joint. The patient then is
instructed to move legs, arms or head in a particular manner. It is this motion that
subsequently leads to a safe and natural structural realignment via the surrounding
muscular-tendinous support structure.
The Dorn Technique is particularly helpful in cases of
